Let Us Know What You Want to Read

Joe’s last post to this blog invited you to tell us what you’d like to read on the Learn & Explore pages of NikonUSA.com. I want to give that invitation a resounding endorsement.

For the last several years I’ve been focused on developing editorial and educational content for our websites. Having your input would be great! I want to know what you want to read about and what we can help you learn.

Do you want to know how to take great pictures of your collectibles to sell on the Internet? Are you planning a trip and need to know how to take pictures in a hot and humid climate? Are your attempts at capturing the perfect holiday card photo falling short?

We want you to enjoy the picture-taking experience, so let us know how we can help. Send us an email by way of the Site Feedback link at the bottom of every page on the site. Tell us what information would be most useful to you. We want to know what you want to read.

Hello,

I would like to see how to take photos to sell on the internet.

I have the D300 with (3) SB800's. I would like to read different settings to achieve various "looks", "feels" with the SB800, like a topic; HOW TO SET YOUR SB800's for? 1. Warm Look 2. fill light 3. backlight, 4. hair light.

D300: More what if's with the settings.

Most of all, do not have a tech writer but a editorial writer who know how to communicate in simple, clear language.

Ground Rules for Your Shot

This blog is a conversation about the NikonUSA.com site redesign and how it can be made better for you. Your feedback on the site is something that we’re taking seriously. We’ll be taking comments you leave and using them as the foundation for future posts. This will help make our collective understanding of the site that much stronger.

The blog is not about Nikon products or the Nikon brand. It's also not about our competitors. So we’ll be reviewing comments to ensure they are within scope, and we’ll do this as quickly as possible. We’ll post the ones that stay on point and incinerate the ones that break the rules. Actually, our accountants say the price of gas for the incinerators is way too expensive right now, so we’ll have put those comments aside for now.

If you have questions about products, services, careers or other company related topics you should visit the Contact Us page of the site for the appropriate contact information.
